SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design

Power Moves is a pilates center that at the moment runs at Novena Specialist Centre. The studio sent a quote of $41,200 per month (pm), surpassing 4 many other offers for the place.

Power Moves’ proposal of $41,200 pm offers a 8.4% premium over the next highest possible proposal of $38,000 pm that was submitted by Lotusonwater Feng Shui. Various bidders include Theta Collective ($22,000 pm), The Smok Hous ($13,777 pm) and Hub Solutions ($7,007 pm).

The tenders for both spots closed on May 29 and were checked based on price and quality aspects.

The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) had launched both tenders between March and April, seeking to even more enhance Dempsey’s reputation as an exceptional lifestyle and wellness enclave.

She includes that the higher weightage of the quality component in current tenders at Dempsey is a testament to SLA’s efforts in finding principles that will inject excitement to the precinct.

The units at 13 Dempsey Roadway take up a projected land area of 5,423 sq ft and have a GFA of about 4,905 sq ft.

Power Moves gained the tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-05 and # 01-07) and 13A Dempsey Road. The estates, which are accepted for health and training use, occupy an acreage of 9,657 sq ft and have a merged projected gross floor area (GFA) of 8,783 sq ft.

Florte Design’s quote of $17,904 pm presented the 3rd highest cost proposal obtained for the property. However, it had the greatest mixed score based on both value (which carried a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).

SLA granted a separate tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-01, # 01-02 and # 01-06) to Florte Design. The business runs domestic flower shop The Florté. It defeated 7 various other tender bids for the property, that is approved for artistic lifestyle purposes.

Florte Design plans to open a marketplace for retail flower and lifestyle merchandise on the place with an all-day coffee shop services floral-infused drinks. The property is going to also feature a health and fitness shop and a versatile event space-cum-photo studio with botanic arrangements.

Power Moves’ proposition features centers like a pilates center, beauty centre, a café, and areas providing nutritional counselling and other wellness-based services. The studio will also provide neighborhood initiatives like outdoor fitness and meditation classes, walkathons and concept pop-up activities to attract people.
